Went for a talk yesterday

talking about women & peace

by Prof Azizan Baharuddin and Dr Wendy Yee ( a member of SGM as well )

it was really an eye-opener to be able to listen to such talk

I thought it would be very boring, but for the sake of to enhance my knowledge a bit

why not listen to what she would say, challenge my luck xD

and I won, the talk has really got an impact on every audience including me ^^

The introduction speech from Dr Wendy Yee was superb!!!

" No mother would ever want to see her child being stepped in front of her!! "

This is the most impact speech I've ever heard in my life ( well mayb my life is too short, so this is significant to me xDD )

My tears almost burst out even I'm not yet a mom

Her words were sooooo powerful and convincing

This is all because of WAR

all mothers suffer from losing their children

however even it was painful, life has to go on

and I think this is the most painful thing in life..as you have to continue living without having you precious wth you

Although she's a Malay, I salute her

she is daring, she is a real woman that will insist on what she thinks right

" We are techinal giants but moral migits "

This is really true and that's why so much war is happening in the world

from I've learned from the talk

rational and intellegent does not mean cold blooded

we need to have the kind of emotions and feelings for us to be motivated

otherwise, intellegence means nothing

in order the world to be peaceful

it has to be started from each of us internally

we have to be able to feel the peacefulness from within then we will be able to spread it to another

it is important for us to have it, especially all Malaysians ( and the world of course )

to create a peaceful and harmony environment

maybe we all have been wrong

we have to be humble and greatful for all the things we have now

not constantly complaining this and complaining that all the time

it makes us arrogant and eventually creates WAR

isn't it what most of our culture thought us?

this is really a good reminder to me

it is my greatest pleasure to attend and to listen to such meaningful talk

and I'm really glad to be a Gakai member

as a Gakai member, as the desciple of Sensei Daisaku Ikeda

it is our mission to create peace in the world

it is never easy to create peace, but from our tiny little effort

I'm sure that it can happen one day ^^

why not create a peaceful world??
